Celebrating its 200th anniversary, The Royal Highland Show is back!
The Royal Highland Show has a long and eventful history. Stretching back to the very first Highland Show in 1822, The Royal Highland Show will be celebrating its 200th anniversary in style. Carl Scarpa has proudly exhibited at the show for many years, thanks to the loyal customers we were inspired to open our newest standalone store on George Street in Edinburgh.
With Summer comes warmer weather, longer days, and summer shows – best of all, The Royal Highland Show. It is the first time crowds have been allowed to attend the show at Ingliston, on the outskirts of Edinburgh, since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Offering a selection of sandals, trainers, loafers, ankle boots and boots at this year's Royal Highland Show, you're destined to find your sole mate. At Carl Scarpa we pride ourselves on bringing exquisite, fashion-led footwear and handbags in sumptuous leathers and suedes to events all over the UK and Ireland.
What is The Royal Highland Show?
The Royal Highland Show is one of the most exciting dates in Scottish events calendar, celebrating the best of Scotland’s food, farming & rural life. This event takes place each year on the 3rd weekend of June at the height of summer. Witness top-class livestock strut their stuff, look on in wonder at the amazing displays of skill in the showjumping rings, and shop till you drop at the variety of retail stands.

The interior of the stand will mirror the brand’s newly developed store format, which aims to reflect the brand’s luxury positioning through a boutique-like atmosphere. Instantly recognisable by our signature blue, mint, and gold colour scheme. Our experienced staff members are determined to offer every customer a delightful shopping experience they'll never forget. It's a shopper's paradise..... You'll find exciting international brands, unique products and of course, agricultural headliners. At this year's Royal Highland Show, there’s a joy to be had just finding new things to love while browsing through the marquees. Enjoy a browse around the 13th Avenue Arcade or the Lifestyle Village or catch up with the crafter’s haven in the 3D2D tent. With more than 1000 trade stands throughout the showground, there’s plenty on offer whether you are shopping for a new handbag or a harvester.
