Carl Scarpa provides their services to you subject to the following conditions. If you shop at carlscarpa.com, it is taken that you accept these conditions so please read them carefully.
We at Carl Scarpa (also referred to as "the proprietors" or "we" from here in) provide as accurate information as possible to our customers.
We are not responsible for the actions of unsupervised children on the Internet or the Carl Scarpa website. Purchasing anything from Carl Scarpa means that you understand and accept responsibility for your own actions, thus releasing the proprietors and our service provider from all liability.
TERMS OF SALE
When you place an order on our Site you automatically agree to our Terms and Conditions. After you place an order, you will be taken to our Order Confirmation Page, which confirms all your details, your order, the price and your order reference number. As soon as you place an order, you as the customer have chosen to enter into/ accept the terms of sale. Only upon consultation with Carl Scarpa can these terms be changed. Please note once your order has been placed you will receive a confirmation email, this does NOT mean that your order has been accepted. Payment will be taken at the time the order is placed.
All card payments are subject to authorisation by your card issuer and we take payment on the day that the order is placed. Once your details have been verified you will receive your 'Order Confirmation' email. Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order is when we dispatch the goods. Completion of the contract between you and Carl Scarpa is when you receive the goods. We will send you a Dispatch Confirmation email confirming that the order has been dispatched. Up until the point of dispatch, your order may be subject to further validation checks.
We can only accept orders for items that are shown on the Site as being in stock. If an item is out of stock we offer a facility for you to receive an email when the item is back in stock. In the unlikely event that we cannot supply you with any or all of the items you ordered, we will inform you by email. If you have already paid for the item we will refund you in full as soon as reasonably possible.
We reserve the right to refuse to supply any person for any reason at any time at our sole discretion, including, but not limited to, our inability to obtain authorisation for payment. We will not be liable to you or any third party because we withdrew any merchandise from the Site; removing, screening or editing any materials or content on the Site; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
DEFAULT CURRENCY
CarlScarpa.com accepts payment in both Euro and Sterling pounds. If you live outside of these areas, you will be charged in Euro.

Since the website may be accessed from international locations where Carl Scarpa does not do business, Carl Scarpa does not represent that it is doing business in all such areas, or that its services will be available in any particular country or jurisdiction. Such products will only be made available in compliance with applicable laws, and only when we decided to offer them.

Warranty
CARE AND QUALITY GO INTO EVERY SHOE & BOOT WE SELL
Carl Scarpa take great care in the design, selection and creation of all our shoes. For over 40 years we have believed that your shoes should be of the finest quality and styled to fit your lifestyle. All our shoes are handmade with the finest materials and we only sell footwear that is up to our very high standard of style, quality and comfort.
When trying on your new shoes please walk on a non-marking surface and try to wear them for at least 10 minutes to allow your foot to get used to the shoe and for the leather or fabric to shape to your feet.
If for any reason you need to return an item, please notify us within 14 days and follow the instructions on our Returns and Cancellations page.
If within 3 months of purchase there are defects in your product please follow the same procedure on our Returns and Cancellations page and a member of our Customer service team will contact you. In many cases it is possible for us to repair the defect under the warranty. In the event of it not being repairable then a replacement pair will be offered if the shoe is found to be defective.
If the time falls outside of the 3 month period, we may still be able to assist you but the item is out of warranty. You can contact online@carlscarpa.com in this situation.
Payment methods
For our Irish, UK and Rest of World sites we accept all major credit and debit cards. We also accept Paypal for all online orders. For our US, Canadian and Australian community, we also accept Visa, Mastercard & PayPal, We cannot accept cash or cheque on delivery.
ACCEPTED CURRENCIES
Both GBP & Euro currencies are accepted on CarlScarpa.com. Our main site is Euro, but if ordering from the US or Canada please select the US at the top right of the page to switch currencies to USD. This currency selection is representative of the exchange rate on the day, you will be charged in Euros and the final amount may vary slightly. This option is only available to customers who have a billing and delivery address in the US or Canada. All other customers should order through our Euro/UKGBP site.
3D Secure
In order to add another level of protection on your behalf we have introduced MasterCard® SecureCode and Verified by Visa to give you even more confidence when shopping with Carl Scarpa.
This service protects your existing card against unauthorised use by prompting you for a private password each time you shop with us. To use this service, you must first register with your bank or other organisation who issued your card. To find out more about this visit the Verified by Visa site or the Mastercard Secure Code site. If you have not done this yet, you will be prompted to do so at the end of the checkout process.
On registering your card, you will be prompted for your 3D secure password at checkout. Please note this is not your Carl Scarpa account password and Carl Scarpa will not hold any information on this password.
The use of 3D secure is sometimes limited to orders above a certain value or shipping to a certain region and may not be applicable to Irish and UK customers in all circumstances.
